Reputable Affiliate Programs
So, the first step is finding affiliate products to sell. I have found reputable affiliate programs at www.clickbank.com and www.cj.com and www.clickslink.com
You could try those for starters.
In her book the Super Affiliate Handbook, the author shares exactly how to find the best affiliate products to sell, and what I found interesting was that she sells (as an affiliate) some really high priced items (costing 1000's) and makes many hundreds in commission on each sale.
That's got to be better than selling items for which you only get say, $5 a sale! After all, the work YOU put in is going to be much the same in terms of marketing. So why not get really well rewarded.
She makes over $500,000 a year so I listen to what she does, and simply follow!
If you don't get 'insider' advice from someone like Rosalind, it's all a bit hit and miss when you are trying to decide WHICH products to promote.

To make money with affiliate programs, there are 3 vital steps you need to take.

Affiliate marketing is a way of making money FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S PRODUCTS. These can be physical products like books and dvd's and clothes etc. Or they can be information products.
Your job in order to make money with affiliate programs is to SEND VISITORS to the website of the product you are promoting. THAT'S ALL. You will get paid a generous commission for every sale made by one of your visitors. A coded tracking link tells the website owner which sales came via you.
